Trains run regularly from Rome and Pescara to Sulmona and there is also a small branch line that takes you to Bugnara itself. Click here for Italian Train Site

There are also buses from Pescara central station (also where you catch the train) to Sulmona. There is then a regular bus service from Sulmona railway station or town to Bugnara. Click here for Bus Website

Or you can take one of the many taxis from Sulmona to Bugnara.

Car hire: you can either pick up a car from your arrival airport or hire a car from Sulmona itself. Or just use public transport.

Flying - Pescara airport is the nearest being only a 40 minute drive away
Rome airports are either 1.5 or 2 hours away again by car.
Naples airport is about 2.5 hours away by car.
Ancona airport is about 3 hours away
Pisa airport is about 4.5 hours away
