Trains run regularly from Rome and Pescara to Sulmona.

Car hire: We strongly recommend that you travel to Casa Rosa by car, as this is a rural part of Italy and like all rural places, the public transport is limited. You can pick up a car from your arrival airport, or there is a small car hire agency in Sulmona.

Flying - Pescara airport is the nearest being only a 50 minute drive away Rome airports are either at Ciampino which is 1.5 hour by car,  or Fiumincino which is about 2 hours drive away, again by car.

Naples airport is about 2 hours away by car.

Ancona airport is about 3 hours away

Pisa airport is about 4 hours away
